You can never doubt the fighting spirit of those Tampa Bay Rays can you! Staring down the barrel of a 3 run deficit in the late innings of the game, our Rays fought back to tie it up, only to fall to the Phillies by a score of 5-4.
Garza didn't have his best tuff on this evening giving up a few runs early on in the game, but the Rays battled back and tied the game when B.J. Upton singled, stole two bases and subsequently ended up at home plate while stealing third, the Rays were back in the game and had the Phillies on their heels. In the end though it wasn't to be as the Phillies pulled it out late in the bottom of the ninth, and took a 2-1 lead in the series.
On the mound tonight for our Rays is Andy Sonanstine as the Rays look to get back into the series in the 2nd of three games in Philly before they head back to the trop to close out the series! Exciting times so all you Rays fans had better be out at your local watering holes tonight supporting our boys!
