The Best Chicken Sandwich Ever...

Well I think the title says it all, but I wanted to hop on here really quick in between meetings at the annual FACVB Convention and tell you about the chicken sandwich I just had over at The Palm Restaurant in the Westshore District at the mall.

I was over there  for a lunch meeting today and had a choice of three items for entrees. Seeing as how I had skipped breakfast,  was really too hungry to experiment and test out the menu, so I decided to go with something that I knew I would work. I ordered their chicken sandwich and it was easily the best one I ever had. Big chicken chunk's crispy bacon, and the biggest bun man has ever created. Now that's my idea of a chicken sandwich!

If you were reading my Twitter updates, today I actually took a picture of thing thing and could barely fit it into the shot. Anyone who has been there and hasn't tried it should definitely take this bird sandwich for a test drive.

The Palm is one of the more unique Tampa Bay dining experiences, with the friendliness of the staff, the menu, as well as the drawings on the wall of local as well as national celebrities etched into the wall, which is my favorite part, other than the chicken sandwich.

Be sure to check out the Palm Restaurant listing on our site, make a reservation, and tell them jerm sent you!

Later gang and stay tuned for more things to do in Tampa Bay.

One problem with reviewing lunch at The Palm on a blog about visiting Tampa: you can eat that sandwich at a Palm anywhere in the country & have the same experience. Why show off the sandwich u can eat here or DC? In the words of Ernest Hooper, "I'm just sayin'"

In my experience, most people who dine at The Palm consistently don't do so just because they know they will have an exceptional meal. They dine with us because they are trying to establish relationships with the clients they are entertaining and they would prefer to do so at an upscale white tablecloth restaurant that portrays the image of success. And that's what we care about. We want to provide an experience where our managers and staff members know the names and faces of our regular guests. And the more you dine with us, the more recognition you gain among Tampa's business elite. Entertaining your clients for lunch at the same restaurant over and over again is hardly mundane or pointless. In fact, it's smart self-branding. Regardless of geographic location, it doesn’t really matter what fabulous dish you select when dining at The Palm. The experience you will have eating the chicken sandwich on your first visit will be inevitably different than on the twentieth. Kristen Muia, Sales Manager The Palm Restaurant, Tampa
