Hello there everyone! Jerm here and I am stepping into the meetings and events side of the equation today to tell you about a great venue I visited the other day in lovely Hyde Park.

We had the opportunity to take a tour of this amazing venue the other day and get an idea of all of the different meetings and options you have if you hold your events here.

This place just oozes class, from the moment you walk into the doors you've stepped into a first class venue. Each Cinebistro is designed for comfort and that was evident from the moment I sat down in one of the lobby chairs as I almost fell asleep it was so comfy.

It got even better once we took a look inside the theaters as its just as relaxing and comfortable a setting. The theaters/auditoriums can easily accommodate small and large groups alike, so as you are thinking about a seminar for a small group, or large private screening for you and 50 or so of your best friends, you are taken care of! Here are just some of the amenities you can expect at Cinebistro:
  • Multiple auditoriums and meeting locations able to accommodate small and large groups alike.
  • Planning, scheduling, logistics management.
  • Comfortable, over-sized leather theatre seating with swivel tables, ideal for taking notes or savoring meals.
  • And much more...
And our specially outfitted cocktail bar is just the right setting to unwind, relax, meet new people and socialize with your friends. Stylishly appointed and with an ambiance all its own.

This place truly is a perfect setting for all of your private event needs. From corporate trainings, to seminars, and even cocktail parties at the end of your event, you are sure to want to have your next event there.

The team of professionals are available to help plan, coordinate and deliver an exceptional experience sure to please and impress. I could go on and on about the place, but I 'll let you further inquire with your needs by emailing of calling the amazing Josephine Ando, Sales and Event Manager to talk about all of the wonderful options you have!

Tampa Bay & Company Produces Results...

Tuesday, August 24, 2010 by Convention Sales
Hello there Tampa Bay and surrounding areas! We have been hard at work here in recent weeks, particularly our Convention Sales team! So much so, that in the past several weeks, Tampa Bay & Company has received signed contracts from multiple organizations to bring meetings or conventions to Tampa Bay. Combined, these meetings and conventions will produce nearly 30,000 hotel room nights for a total estimated delegate spending of $11.9 million. One example of those successes includes:

Church of the BrethrenThe Church of the Brethren will bring its Annual Conference to Tampa Bay in July 2015. More than 4,500 delegates will attend the Annual Conference, which will produce approximately 7,000 hotel room nights for an estimated delegate spending of $2.3 million.

For over 250 years, Brethren have gathered regularly together to worship together, to discuss questions of faith, and to be reacquainted with believers across the country. The first official meeting of this type was in 1742 when Brethren met to reaffirm their unique identity.

30 years later, the event would become an annual occasion held during the observance of Pentecost, as an invitation for the Holy Spirit to once again come down upon the hearts and minds of these believers. Annual Conference is the highest and final legislative authority in the Church of the Brethren, including all matters of procedure, program, polity, and discipline. For more information.

Congratulations to the Convention Sales team on a job well done, and please join us in welcoming this group, and all groups, to Tampa Bay. www.Brethren.org! That's all for now, but be sure to stay tuned in for updates on Tampa Bay meetings and things to do in Tampa Bay!

When CB's dog dies from rabies, CB begins to question the existence of an afterlife. His best friend is too burnt out to provide any coherent speculation. His sister has gone goth. His ex-girlfriend has recently been institutionalized and his other friends are too inebriated to give him any sort of solace. But a chance meeting with an artistic kid, the target of this group's bullying, offers CB a peace of mind and sets in motion a friendship that will push teen angst to the very limits. Drug use, suicide, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion and sexual identity collide and careen toward an ending that's both haunting and hopeful.
