Tampa Bay Storm vs Orlando Predators Ticket Giveaway Right Now...

Friday, July 23, 2010 by Bay Bloggers
Hello everyone! Jeremy here with another ticket giveaway for my loyal followers and readers alike! Just in case you didn't know, the Tampa Bay Storm season finale is next weekend, and I want to give away some stuff!

Now of course there season is not over, as the boys have been kicking some tail this weekend and are a pretty solid bet to make the playoffs, but but their regular season does end next week vs the rival Orlando Predators.

The last time these two matched up was back in May with the Storm coming out on top by the scoreline of 62-50, so you can rest assured that the Predators will be looking to exact some revenge in front of what I am sure will be a hostile crowd at the St Pete Times Forum!

I have two sets of 2 tickets to give away today for the game, so i suggest you put those trivia hats on!

Here is a refresher on the way the giveaway will work. Instead of re-tweeting like I used to make you do, just answer the question on Twitter. Once you do that you will be entered in to win, as we will randomly draw two names. For those of you playing on Twitter and who choose to re-tweet, it does indeed increase your chances of winning.

I draw names from the first 10 correct answers, so make sure you get the correct answer to play! Around 5pm, I will announce the winners!

Let's hop right into it! All I need you to do is answer three questions about the Tampa Bay Storm. I promise I won't try and stump you today so don't worry:
  1. Who holds the Storm single-game record for most touchdown passes with ten?
  2. What team did the Storm defeat to claim their first two Arena Bowl titles?
  3. What former Storm quarterback guided the team to four out of five Arena bowl titles and is one of six players in Storm history to have his number retired by the team?
HA! Now I am sure I stumped you with those questions, so lets see what you guys got, and who can answer! Remember I am only taking the first 10 correct answers into the drawing so make sure you get it right.

Also don't forget, that wile you don't have to re-tweet the original tweet to win, re-tweeting does increase your chances of winning. Happy playing guys and stay tuned in for more Tampa Bay Sports related updates and awesome things to do in Tampa Bay!

Bon Jovi and the Circle Tour Ticket Giveaway Right Now!!!

Tuesday, April 6, 2010 by jeremy fairley
It's time to give away some Bon Jovi tickets folks! Good morning to all on yet another beautiful day here in Tampa Bay. Days like this remind me of what I live in the sunshine state as its been like this for the past week or so, just gorgeous!

For those of you who have been living under a rock lately, Bon Jovi will descend upon the St. Pete Times Forum on next Saturday night in front of what I am sure will be a packed house, greatly anticipating the roof to be rocked off (which I am sure Bon Jovi will deliver).

Jon, Richie, David and Tico, were last in the Bay area back in  successful with “Lost Highway Tour—Billboard’s #1 top-grossing tour that year, so its been far too long since we last saw them, but I guess after all of that touring and rocking out, they needed a bit of a rest!

On to the giveaway now! Here is a refresher on the way the contest will work, as remember, we have changed things up a bit from the original format. Instead of re-tweeting, just answer the question on Twitter. Once you do that you will be entered in to win, as we will randomly draw.

We accept the first 10 correct answers, so make sure you get it right! Around 530 I will Twitpic, or maybe even TwitVid the name of the winner! Let's not waste any time and hop right into it!

So here are the rules again, just in case you forgot...

1 - You have to be following us on Twitter...
2 - Answer 3 questions in a separate tweet about Bon Jovi

Here is your question:

There is a ton of work that goes into this Bon Jovi tour, in for form of what all it takes before and during the concert. Let's see who the true Bon Jovi fans are that can answer these tough questions about the tour:
  1. How many labor hours went into the manufacturing of the stage set, tracking video columns and the robotic video screens?
  2. How many Total watts does the sound system generate per show?
  3. Name the number of additional local crew members recruited in each city to help build and tear down the production/staging?
Remember, just go onto our Twitter account and reply with the answer to enter your name into the drawing. The first ten will be entered in to win. If you want to increase your chances of winning, re-tweet this "ORIGINAL" tweet where we announce the question, and we will throw your name into the drawing hat twice, to increase your chances of winning!

Okay so what are you waiting for! Stay tuned in for updates on things to do in Tampa Bay! For more info on the concert check out our website at www.VisitTampaBay.com/Bon_Jovi.

For the thousands of Bon Jovi fans scattered throughout the Tampa Bay area, you should be paying extra special attention to our Twitter account on Tuesday, April 6, as we you will potentially be playing for two tickets to See Bon Jovi at the St Pete Times Forum on April 17!

Now we will follow a similar format for these contests as we have in recent ones, so I won't make it too tricky for you, but it won't be easy at the same time.

If I were you though I would be brushing up on my Bon Jovi history and random facts. If your not familiar with our trivia giveaway format, please see our most recent giveaway.

Well that's it for now folks, but to brush up on your Bon Jovi trivia and get other details about the concert, visit our website at www.VisitTampaBay.com./Bon_Jovi for more details on St Pete Times Forum tickets, and such!

Bon Jovi at the St. Pete Times Forum April 17, 2010!!!

Tuesday, March 23, 2010 by Bay Bloggers
If you are a Bon Jovi fan, then I am sure your heart was aflutter after reading this headline. That's right folks, Bon Jovi is coming back to the Bay area  and the St. Pete Times Forum on April 17, 2010 as part of their "Circle Tour."

The band’s North American tour launched on February 19, 2010 in Seattle, WA, and Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan and Tico Torres will spend much of the next two years on the road, performing 135 shows in 30 countries.

Following in the footsteps of their hugely successful “Lost Highway Tour, Bon Jovi will draw fans around the world into The Circle, with a residency at London’s O2 Arena in June 2010 before returning to America in the fall for an additional nationwide leg, and further dates well into 2011.

If you remember back in 2008 the "Lost Highway Tour" came through Tampa Bay and Bon Jovi rocked the roof off of the arena here in Tampa and we need to be sure to get out to the Forum and show them all of the love and support that this Tampa Bay community is known for guys, so I suggest you start buying your tickets now!

I will also have a pair of tickets to giveaway via Twitter, so stay tuned for more details on that front in the coming days. Of course I can't give you all of the details now, because what would be the fun in that!

That's all I got for now folks, but be sure to keep up with this blog and stay tuned in for more info on Tampa Bay area events and updates on St Pete Times Forum tickets! For more info on the concert be sure to visit our website!
